- Our bodies can’t digest fiber, so fiber passes straight through the body.
- Fiber is what feeds our good bacteria, and those good bacteria are essential for our overall health.
- If your gut health is out of whack and you don’t have enough of the good bacteria, eating fiber can actually make your symptoms worse (I’ll have a blog article about that and the low FODMAP diet coming up soon).
